Helping Hands for Haiti

There was a fund raiser at the Church and during Sunday School all the kids helped make posters and signs to put up for a bake sale; decorated cookies and ran the bake sale all to help those that were hit by the hurricane in Haiti.  It was a nice lesson for everyone to learn about helping others no matter if you know them or not.

Spring Break, Brain Arts Camp!

The play for Brain Surgeon's Brain Arts Camp this spring break was called "Just an ordinary day" and it was about aliens invading a lego factory.  Everyone did a great job, knew their lines and songs better than the last show.  You were terrific.

Marathon Kids - 2009

Marathon Kids is a program to get kids moving again.  The are supposed to run/walk a marathon in six months.  Here Evan and his friends are at the Kick Off.

Happy Halloween.....this is Evan and his friend Spencer trick or treating on Southport this year.  The boys got an unbelievable amount of candy is such a short time.

Evan and I went to camp this past weekend and we had a blast. Evan was a natural at archery. Between the rock climbing, archery, arts and crafts, the beach and the lake, there was plenty to do even though it rained in the morning. We had the most beautiful sunset. I'll post some pictures soon.

Family Reunion

Well, the bi-annual family reunion was a few weekends ago, and I have to say it was a lot of fun. Thank you to Becky, Aunt Bev, everyone else who had a hand in putting it all together.
