I just love this layout - I like how I made the background look like a newspaper comic strip - my first try at this techinque - b/w and color together.

Birthday Party Weekend

This weekend Evan had a party on both Sat and Sun.

This is from the party on Sunday a a place called "Pump it up!".

They have all sorts of inflatable slides, obstacle courses, basketball courts, etc for the kids and even a rock climbing wall. Needless to say, the kids never stopped smiling.

This is the Saturday party - a dancing party. Evan practiced his moves all week - he thought that playing air guitar was great dancing 8^).

Orange Belt!

Evan was promoted to Orange belt tonight!

He was so nervous, he thought that he did not make it, but yes he did!

Ninja Training Ground

On NY's eve, as soon as Evan knew it was snowing, he had to go outside and practice being a Ninja!

Well Evan figured it out this year - no more banging pots and pans with the rest of the world at 9:00! Nope, "It really is done at midnight mom" is what I was told. So here he is - he made it to midnight, banged the pots and pans and promptly went to bed.
