Jr. Brown III

WOW! Evan earned his Jr. Brown III belt the other day. I am so proud, only 2 more belts before Black Belt.

Gifts from the Marines

The marines in Iraq sent you a thank you box of items for your forgoing birthday gifts and asking for care package items. They sent you a shirt, hat, flag, challenge coin, marine plaque and wonderful letter thanking you for your generosity.

I can't decide which paper I like better. I like the blue because it is a night layout, but I like teh light because I think it brings out the dark pictures better. What do you think?

Rock Climbing

Evan and I went to camp this past weekend and we had a blast. Evan was a natural at archery. Between the rock climbing, archery, arts and crafts, the beach and the lake, there was plenty to do even though it rained in the morning. We had the most beautiful sunset. I'll post some pictures soon.

Family Reunion

Well, the bi-annual family reunion was a few weekends ago, and I have to say it was a lot of fun. Thank you to Becky, Aunt Bev, everyone else who had a hand in putting it all together. High Blue!

WOW! I am so proud of Evan, he earned his High Blue belt the other day. He worked so hard and sparred the best that I ever saw him.

here are the week 5 & 6 Challenges. I don't know if I like them, but here they are.

Challenge week 4

Here is the week 4 challenge lo. Evan's class went to the Chicago Mosaic School, created a tile and all the tiles will be put together and auctioned off at the annual auction. The owner was awesome and the kids were mesmerized by her.

Challenge weeks 2 and 3

Two new pages. I am following a 52 week challenge and posting my lo's there so I forgot to post here also. The first is from our trip to Tomah over the new year and the other is obviously old photos that i never did scrap. As always, click on for larger pictures.

Festival of Lights

This year for the Festival of Lights program, students played instruments as well as just singing. Everyone was so good.

Altered Paint Cans

I made these altered paint cans to give as gifts this year. The large one is for Evan's teacher and will be filled with homemade cookies and a card with the class gift inside. The small cans are for the Starbucks stores to thank them for giving us their Kemps milk caps.
